Premises Liability:  80 year old rendered quadriplegicfollowing trip on tile in elevator of apartment complex.

Product Liability:  Defective vehicle design of Jeep
causes rollover crash.   32-year-old husband suffered brain damage.         

Nursing Home Negligence:  75-year-old woman with
untreated urinary tract infection developed sepsis,
multiple organ failure and eventually died.  Six surviving adult children.  Policy limit $2,000.000.00  

Negligent Staffing:  Private school with inadequate ratio
of staff to students results in the sexual molestation of one student by another.    

Medical Malpractice:  Obstetrician failed to complete
termination of pregnancy resulting in child born with brain damage and disabilities.

Verdict - $1,300,000.00 

Product Liability:  Tire tread separation of an SUV
resulted in a loss of control and vehicle rollover.  Client
sustained cervical fractures, shattered hip and femur fracture.          

Medical Negligence:  65 year old woman presented at the emergency room complaining of headaches and back ache. Defendant doctor denied that plaintiff made complaints of headache and failed to diagnose a brain aneurysm. Plaintiff suffered a stroke.

Automobile Negligence:  Retrieval and downloading of
black box data from defendant’s vehicle proves excessive speed and failure to respond to stopped vehicle ahead. Bilateral leg fractures to 9 year old and knee injury to her  twin sister.  Policy limit $1,000,000.00.       

Medical Malpractice:  Failure to recognize a lacerated
liver following CPR leads to wrongful death of 43-year-old husband and father of one. 

Settlement - $1,000,000.00

Automobile Negligence:  Uninsured motorist suit for
35-year-old father of six who was killed when struck by
a drunk driver while unloading his work van.  Policy limit $1,000,000.00.  

Automobile Negligence:  Truck struck and killed a 52-year-old pedestrian with one adult surviving son.          

Verdict - $1,000,000.00

Medical Malpractice:  Wrongful death of 19 year old
following elective surgery to remove a benign brain tumor.            

Automobile Negligence:  Wrongful death of a 75 year
old and a 45 year old when a car crossed over the center
line, causing the clients’ vehicle to lose control and hit an oncoming truck. Settlement and verdict. 

Medical Malpractice:  Doctor negligently performed a tummy tuck procedure resulting in permanent scarring.

Electrocution:  44 year old sustained psychological injury following electrocution at home.

Dramshop Liability:  Suit against a tavern owner who
served alcohol to a patron which resulted in an automobile crash that killed a 26-year-old son and a 33-year-old wife and mother.  Policy limit $750,000.00.

Automobile Negligence:  31 year old under the influence
of cocaine and hitchhiking on an expressway is struck by
car swerving around a truck that stopped to pick up client. Claim against truck driver for blocking a through lane. Client sustained a below the knee amputation.

Product Liability:  Defectively designed latch on
hatchback of vehicle results in ejection of passenger. 42-year-old wife sustained hemiparesis.

Slip & Fall – Premises Liability:Tenant of an apartment building fell in water in a stairwell, sustaining a dislocated shoulder and possible torn labrum. Defendant offered $15,000.00 before trial and $30,000.00 during trial. The jury returned a verdict for $542,000.00 and the defendant appealed.

Negligent Security:  18 year old shot and killed in
Drive-through lane of fast food restaurant.  Policy limit $600,000.00.     

Industrial Forklift Accident/Product Liability:  35 year
old sustained serious ankle fracture requiring surgery
when forklift he was operating while loading a truck fell
after truck moved away from loading dock.  Policy limit $600,000.00.     

Motorcycle Accident:  21 year old injured when driver
violated the right of way.  Policy limit of $100,000.00
offered but our firm alleged that the insurance company acted in bad faith.

Automobile Negligence:  52 year old suffered herniated
cervical disk and mild traumatic brain injury as a result of rear-end crash.

Dog Bite:  5-year-old girl bitten on face by dog withhistory of prior bites.
